Melissa Kloss, Psy.D., LP
Dr. Kloss is a psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Kloss utilizes a psychodynamic approach that is informed through a developmental lens and family systems orientation. She believes the relationships formed with her clients and their families serve as the catalyst for therapeutic growth and change. Dr. Kloss has experience conducting psychological assessments and therapy with clients from a wide variety of age groups and clinical presentations. She has received specialized training to work with diverse populations, as well as trauma.
Dr. Kloss received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from St. Cloud State University. She earned Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology at the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Twin Cities. Dr. Kloss completed her Pre-Doctoral Internship at the Indian Health Board of Minneapolis and her Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Washburn Center for Children. While completing her fellowship at Washburn Center for Children, Dr. Kloss was awarded the ACORN Fellowship Award for her clinical research project on female childhood sexual abuse and for her past work with children and families.
